Yutambient

Yutambient is the name of my photographic practice.

“Yuta” and “Ambient.” To be quiet and belong to a place. Not to stand out, but to remain in the air. That is what I had in mind when I chose the name.

“Ambient scenes from Japan.” I photograph the light, humidity and atmosphere of Japan: the quiet beauty found in everyday scenes.

From locations and equipment to the paper I print on, I choose Japanese-made materials whenever possible.

Each work is signed and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
